Gianluca, along with some key figures from the political and associative world (including the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests Francesco Lollobrigida, the President of Fondazione UniVerde Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, the President of Coldiretti Ettore Prandini, and the Secretary General of Coldiretti Vincenzo Gesmundo), had the pleasure of presenting the “Terra del Sole” project in Giugliano in Campania as a best practice for creating an agrivoltaic plant based on the needs of the agricultural sector, along with bringing economic, social, and environmental benefits to the community in which it is located.
Gianluca Boccanera, Global Managing Director of Starlight, commented:
“The NextEnergy Group has always paid great attention to the design and implementation of projects that can combine the production of clean energy, advanced and organic agricultural practices, biodiversity recovery, as well as the active and effective involvement of local communities involved in the various stages of each initiative,”
He continued: “The ‘Terra del Sole’ project in Giugliano in Campania is a demonstration of our approach and how an initiative that fits into a territory with various critical issues can represent an opportunity for economic, social, and environmental redemption and growth, as well as innovation in these various fields, with the full and open support of the main national actors in the agricultural and environmental fields such as Coldiretti and Legambiente.”
The conference further underscores NextEnergy Group’s commitment to promoting sustainable energy practices capable of simultaneously producing benefits for agriculture, the environment, and local communities.
As NextEnergy Group continues to lead the transition towards clean, renewable energy, projects like “Terra del Sole” not only affirm the distinctiveness of our approach to developing new initiatives in the renewable sector but also highlight the strong attention given to the needs of others stakeholders involved in the energy transition process, such as those in the agricultural and ecological fields.
