Starlight is an ethical global developer of renewable energy assets, established to capture, consolidate and rapidly expand NextEnergy Group’s renewable energy project development expertise and presence
Starlight was set up with a team of over 20 people in different locations and with different backgrounds and it continues to expand rapidly, in both skillset and regional footprint, today comprising some 50 professionals.
Starlight benefits from NextEnergy Group’s industry-leading ESG practices and quality assurance processes. Development projects mainly target greenfield sites and Starlight is keen to work alongside local developers, landowners, authorities and communities to further expand its platform in new technologies and jurisdictions.

Starlight is continuously assessing other new geographies and technologies to expand its development footprint. On the first front, US, Chile, Germany, France, Iberia and Poland are currently amongst the target countries to enter while on the second one we are actively assessing the potential to combine solar, wind, batteries and potentially green hydrogen in fully hybrid systems
